Second Annual Chocolate Festival
published on 28th July, 2009

You know what I couldn’t live without? Bacon. Truly, if I could not eat the swine, I would be an empty shell of a man. Nearly all of the best food inventions use bacon. Where would our society be without the BLT? Or bacon cream cheese cinnamon rolls? Or, most importantly to the this article, applewood smoked bacon dark chocolate bars.**The Second Annual Chocolate Festival is coming to a little area called Hunter Valley Gardens, just 2 hours north of Sydney. The festival is promising to "immerse you in a chocolate experience you will never forget," which includes two days of unique chocolate pairings (no bacon chocolate unfortunately), chocolate history walks and master classes in chocolate sculpting and cooking. I hope they understand how many dreams of mine are going to come true this weekend and how deliciously sticky my body will be after the immersion.
