The Famous Berry Donut Van
published on 12th August, 2009

Spring has sprung. Isn’t it time for a scenic drive down the South Coast? A trip to beautiful Berry in the Southern Highlands? How about… a visit to The Famous Berry Donut Van!?

The Famous Berry Donut Van is a simple yet stable institution. In a stationary van at the end of Queen Street, two staff cook your donuts made to order. There are choices to make, but don’t worry, not many options are available. Do you want cinnamon or plain? One, two, or five? Strawberry milk, chocolate milk or coffee? ‘Plain’ milk is not an option.**They cook up your donuts while you wait, then hand you a paper bag filled with hot, doughy goodness. There’s outdoor seatin’ for eatin’, or take ‘em in your car. Five donuts are ridiculously cheap, like $5!

They brag that they’ve NEVER sold a cold donut, and they’ve never re-heated one. And for that, we love them. Visit The Famous Berry Donut Van – because cupcakes are sooooo 2008.
