The Wall: Polaroids, Music, Murder!!
published on 19th June, 2007

The team at TwoThousand have long admired The Wall’s weekly nights at Bar Cleveland. We admire them because running a weekly isn’t easy. Like teenage acne or a Hydra head, get rid of one deadline and another pops up in its place. We also admire their active work style. We can sit on our butts and do our thing but those Wall monkeys are regularly scaling ladders, hanging art, bumping in, bumping out – that kind of jazz. We press ‘send’ with one hand while holding a cheesy-mite scroll in the other.**Humble comparisons aside, this week’s Wall: POLAROIDS, MUSIC, MURDER!!! is shaping up to be a bloody (good) affair. One, because it’s showcasing the Polaroids of Katherine White, a lady who always gets it right the first time. Two, because there will be an actual murder. But by actual we mean fake. This is the stuff of CLUEDO dreams. One person will be chosen in ‘secret’ to be the murderer. This murderer will then kill people by winking at them. Once you are winked at you are dead. Finito, gone. But when all the bodies have been cleared away and the murderous winker nabbed, DJs Johnny Darko and Tully will play a set or two and the dead will rise to dance into the night. If only all weeklies were this exciting.
