The Wishing Tree
published on 14th October, 2008

Up the posher end of Oxford Street there stands a tree. To be accurate there stand two trees, but only one of them is magic. At face value it is hard to know which one has powers because they both look the same. Luckily the Wishing Tree has a sign:

WISHING TREE

1. Take a tag
2. Write your wish
3. Hang it over the tree

Reading other people’s wishes sounds like something Cruella Da Ville might do before skinning a puppy. But TwoThousand has questionable morals, so we looked at the tags. The main themes seem to be peace, happiness and marriage. Then we found these ones…**Never going to happen wish: "I wish my girlfriend can come to Australia in a new house."

Pervert wish: "Threesome with hot twins."

Cop out wish: "I wish every wish gets its wish."

Cat wish: "A cat please."
