Ultimate Fight Championship has had a rocky history. Allegations of ‘human cock fighting’ plagued its early years and it’s always struggled to match the bluster of the WWE. This has all changed recently, and its events constantly set pay-per-view records. It stands to reason then that though UFC 2009: Undisputed is the 6th game to bear the brand, it’s the first to show any real promise. Undisputed is slick with polish, from the excessive player creation options to the deep move sets and detailed fighter models.**In the end though, we all just want to knock six shades out of the other guy, and while the pieces are all there it takes dedication to understand the plethora of blocks, combos and counters. Worth it if you have the time and a passion for mixed martial arts, otherwise stick to Street Fighter.
